Rehra is located in Sarguja District and is east of Ambikapur.

It lies about 9 km south of Umko and 7 km north of Champa. Other towns in the neighborhood include Samri (20 km north), Kusmi (12 km east) and Sanna (22 km south).

Raipur Airport is the nearest airport and Bishrampur Railway Station is the closest railhead.
