Regional Medical Research Centre
Regional Medical Research Centre (RMRC) was established in 1982 at Dibrugarh for conducting bio-medical research on health problems of the northeastern part of India. It conducts research in various mosquito borne diseases, drug abuse and HIV, food borne parasitic diseases, and haemoglobinopathies. RMRC has a state-of-the-art laboratory facility. It conducts re-orientation courses in malariology, malaria microscopy, detection of HCV, and diarrhoeal diseases. RMRC also provides malaria and filarial diagnosis and treatments, diagnostic services for arboviruses, and also acts as consults.
