Red Hill, also known as Lokpaching, is a hillock situated on Tiddim Road, about 16 km from
Imphal, in
Bishnupur District,
Manipur. It is a historic place which had witnessed the fierce battle between the British and Japanese during the World War II. Major point of attraction here is the ‘India Peace Memorial’, a monument constructed in memory of Japanese Martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the fierce battle.
