Rayat Institute of Engineering and Information Technology is a technical institute established by Rayat Educational and Research Trust in 2001. The institute is affiliated to
Punjab Technical University,
Jalandhar. It offers four year graduate courses in electronic and communication, computer science, mechanical, information technology and electrical engineering. Three year Master of Computer Application is also conducted.
The college has well equipped labs, workshops and a fully air-conditioned library. There are separate hostels for boys and girls.
