Rassin

Rassin lies 15 km south-west of Karjat, in Ahmednagar District. It is quite near the district’s southern border, which it shares with Solapur District. Khed is 14 km south-west and Ahmednagar, the district headquarters, is 75 km north. Located at an accessible distance from Rassin are the Great Indian Bustard Wildlife Sanctuary and Rehekuri Blackbuck Sanctuary - two famous wildlife sanctums, catering to wildlife enthusiasts. Pune Lohegaon Airport and Daund Junction Railway Station serve Rassin.
