Rampur is a small settlement in Baramulla District of Jammu and Kashmir. It is about 16 km to the north-west of Srinagar and 165 km from Jammu. Rampur is encircled by Sindhbal in the west, Ladwana in the north, Gangarhama in the east and Salura in the south.
