Ramdaspet is located at
Rajahmundry in
East Godavari District. It lies on the way to Korukonda Road, between Sanitarium and Quarry colony.
The place was named after Yedla Ramadasu, a singer who used to propagate vedanta, non-violence and truth among the public through his folk songs. He worked at the Sanitorium. He died in 1917 and a tomb was built here in his memory.
