Ramban is located in Doda District of Jammu and Kashmir. It lies on Jammu - Srinagar National Highway. It is about 148 km from the east of Jammu and about 50 km west of Doda.
Ghajpat Qila, an important monument of archeological importance, is east of Ramban. Banihal Falls is about 40 km from Ramban.
