Ramavardayini Temple




Ramavardayini Temple is situated on a hill called Yamunachal, at Tuljapur near Sholapur, in Osmanabad District, Maharashtra. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Ramavardayini. The deity is depicted with eight arms. This temple is closely linked with the Indian epic Ramayana. According to the epic, Goddess Ramavardayini (one who grants Ram's wishes) gave her blessings to Lord Ram who was searching for his wife, Sita.
