Ramana Maharshi Shrine, situated at
Bangalore, was setup with the view of propagating the teachings of Ramana Maharshi, a spiritual guru. It is managed by the Ramana Maharshi Centre for Learning, which aims to spread guru’s teachings through its publications, libraries, music and dramas. During the weekends spiritual discourses and discussions are held.
The Ramana Maharshi Shrine is built in a manner representing an ancient cave. The hall for the devotees boasts of polished granite tiles. About 300 devotees can be accommodated in this large hall.
Vidhana Soudha, the city legislative hall, is about 5 km from this shrine. The nearest railhead is Bangalore City Junction Railway Station.
