Ramakrishna Mutt at Baghbazar,
Kolkata, is a branch of
Belur Mutt (worldwide headquarters of all Ramakrishna mission centers and sub-centers.) It is also called Mayer Bari (Mother's House.) The mutt conducts daily worships and classes on scriptures on every Sunday, Thursday and Friday. Special worships are conducted on the birth days of Swami Saradananda (one of the 15 direct disciples of Sri Ramakrishna) and the Holy Mother Sarada Devi. Night-long worships are held on festive occasions such as Kali Puja and Shiva Ratri days. The mutt spreads Ramakrishna-Vivekananda and Vedanta ideology through its publications.
