Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama is situated at
T Nagar, one of the prime commercial and residential location in
Chennai, Tamil Nadu. It is a branch of the world wide Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, founded by
Swami Vivekananda in 1897. The Ashrama is based on the teachings of
Ramakrishna Paramahamsa - one of the great religious leaders of India.
Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama conducts daily morning and evening worship services. Its spacious and calm prayer hall is an ideal destination for meditation and prayer. Sunday classes on scriptures/spiritual topics, personality development programs are organized and monthly spiritual retreats on 3rd Sundays are other conducted.
The Ashrama has two higher secondary schools, one matriculation school, two primary schools, library and a hostel. Scholarship and educational helps are provided for students.
The nearest railhead and bus terminal are Mambalam Railway Station and T Nagar Bus Depot respectively. Chennai International Airport is the nearest airport. Chennai Central Railway Station is the nearest major railhead.
