Rama is a town in the northernmost part of Jalore District in the desert state of Rajasthan. Eight kilometers apart is the nearest town, Bhadrajan. Some of the other towns around Rama are Ghona, 9 km to the north and Nilkant, 11 km to the west.
Jalore, the district headquarters, lies to the south-west of this town. The major tourist attraction is the historical Jalore Fort which houses the Mosque of Saint Malik Shah.
