Rallu Lam




Rallu Lam is a ritual performed by the native people of Mizoram. It is held to honor a warrior and celebrate his victory in a campaign.

This ritual is a part of the reception ceremony held by the village chief to welcome the victorious warrior, on his return from a battle. His valor in the battle is re-enacted during this ceremony. The manner in which this ritual is held may vary depending on the village where it is held.
