Ralamandal Wildlife Sanctuary




Ralamandal Wildlife Sanctuary, established in 1989, is situated in Indore District, Madhya Pradesh. With its hilly area and meandering valleys, this small sanctuary (5 sq km) is home to a large variety of flora and fauna.

Major animal species found here include leopard, black buck, sambar, chital, blue bull and barking deer. The sanctuary is also home to various species of birds. It is also a heaven for migratory birds during seasons.

The best time to visit the sanctuary is from July to April.

The nearest airport is at Indore. Indore Junction Railway Station is the nearest railhead. Regular buses are available from Sarvate Bus Station, Indore.
