Rakaposhi Glacier is on the lower slopes of the
Karakoram Ranges in the Gilgit region of
Ladakh. Placed on the northern slopes of the Rakaposhi massif, this glacier lies in trough, whose bottom inclines to the north and north-west.
The melt-water of the glacier flows into the Hunza River, and this river joins the Indus River. Boulders and rocks can be spotted here.
