Rajmahal Hills is located in
Jharkhand. It starts from
Sahibganj District ends up in
Dumka District. The mighty river
Ganges flows close to these hills. The hills, spanning a length of 120 miles, measure a maximum of 1,861 feet in altitude.
The upper reaches of Rajmahal hills are inhabited by Sauria Pahariya tribe. The valleys are the dominion of the Santal tribe, who utilize the land for cultivation.
