Rajabhat Khawa is a beautiful town near the Buxa Tiger Reserve in
Jalpaiguri District of
West Bengal. It is one of the main centers of eco tourism. The town is situated 12 km south of Jayanti, a charming place on the banks of the Jayanti River, and 17 km from
Alipurduar. On the way to Rajabhat Khawa one can see the lush green tea gardens and forests.
Kalchini, Patkapara and
Buxa Duar are the neighboring towns. National Highway 31C passes through this town.
Places of tourist interest at Rajabhat Khawa include Orchidarium, animal rescue center and a nature interpretation center. A watchtower deep inside the forest gives the best opportunity to view elephants, bisons and tigers.
