Raj Bhavan, spread over 33,740 sq m, is an interesting landmark of
Aizawl. This 95-year-old structure was built by Colonel J Shakespeare in 1899. During the pre-independence era, it was the home of British superintendent. Presently, Raj Bhavan is the home of
Mizoram's governor.
