Raiwala is a small tipsy town situated on the
Rishikesh-
Haridwar highway. It is a picturesque place on the Shivalik ridges, on the banks of river
Ganges.
Selling of meat and alcohol are strictly prohibited at Rishikesh and Haridwar and this has proved to be a boon to Raiwala. Raiwala today is a favorite hunting ground for those tourists and locals seeking a change from their daily diet of religious discourse. Rajaji National Park is a nearby attraction.

Raiwala Railway Station is on the Haridwar-Rishikesh line. National Highway 58 passes through Raiwala.
