Rahu lies on the banks of Mutha River, about 10 km west of Pargaon, in
Pune District. Kedgaon is situated south-east of Rahu and Taligaon lies north-west.
Pune, the district headquarters, is around 50 km west of Rahu.
The pilgrim spot of Kurkumb, historic sites and gardens in and around Pune, Mayureshwar Wildlife Sanctuary and Khadakwasla Lake are places of tourist interest within 100 km.
Pune Lohegaon Airport and Kedgaon Railway Station serve Rahu.
