Radiology Education Foundation (REF), a non-profit charitable trust foundation is located at
Mumbai,
Maharashtra. The prime objective of the organization is to provide resident education in India. The Foundation's aims include promoting REF scholars for training and exposure abroad and in India. To successfully implement the above objective it conducts resident review and advanced review courses on specific subjects. The Residents' Review Courses are meant exclusively for residents whereas the others are meant for residents and consultants. Course materials, books and CD-ROMS are also available for sale.
The organisers aim to promote resident education through the internet as well, actively involving many radiologists in India and abroad. They intend to extend the program to other south Asian countries.
The REF holds online quizzes every week covering all aspects of radiology and the questions are chosen for their uniqueness or teaching potential.
