Opened in 1930, Radha Silk Emporium is a showroom with a wide collection of silk
sarees. This showroom is close to
Kapaleeswarar Temple in
Mylapore, in
Chennai.
The shop, also called Rasi House, specializes in Kanchipuram silks. Cotton sarees, fabric, ready-made garments and handicrafts are displayed. Traditional silks such as Bandhani and Patola are available.
Radha Silk Emporium has a design and weaving center and a manufacturing unit where satin, taffeta, silk and heavy silk furnishing materials are manufactured.
