Dr. M G R Medical University offers BPT and MPT courses in sports medicine and orthopaedics. The college aims to impart in-depth knowledge and skill to become professionally competent in health care services and to promote skill in teaching management. Apart from academics, ample scope is provided for co-curricular activities.
The Institution has good infrastructure with full fledged out-patient department, a multi speciality hospital and well equipped exercise and electro therapy laboratories. Eminent medical personnel from within and outside the state come down for special lectures. Special clinical posting and internship training is carried out with all leading hospitals. Other facilities in the campus include sate-of-the-art labs, library with over 1,550 books, subscriptions, and periodicals, and a placement wing.
