Purvabharti, a public trust museum, is based in
Nalbari,
Assam.
The museum houses manuscripts, anthropological materials, musical instruments, tribal costumes, copper plates, pottery, archeological objects, oil paintings, bamboo and cane products, postal stamps and weapons. Also displayed is a collection of tribal costumes and ornaments.
