Purthi is a picturesque village located 24 km from
Killar in
Chamba District,
Himachal Pradesh. It lies, at an elevation of about 2,200 m above sea level, on the
Manali -
Chamba - Sach Pass trek route in
Pangi Valley.
Purthi is famous for its forest nurseries. A historical Forest Rest House is set in the beautiful surroundings of the village. Chenab River flows nearby.
