Purni

Purni, a scenic village in the Narmada Valley, is 9 km north of Mund, in Khandwa District of Madhya Pradesh. Bir (10 km), Borkhera Khund (13 km), Punasa (17 km) are some places worth paying a visit.

Beyond Purni, most of the land is engulfed by the Narmada Sagar Reservoir. Narmada Sagar Dam, one of the 30 large dams across the Narmada River, Punasa Dam and Punasa Waterfalls are the nearby points of attraction.
