Purjan Vihar, situated in
Alwar, is a picturesque garden laid out during the reign of Maharaja Shiv Dan Singh in 1868 AD. Simla (the summer house), built by Maharaja Mangal Singh in 1885 AD, is the main attraction of the garden. It was originally named Company Garden, later changed by Maharaja Jai Singh as Purjan Vihar.
