Puranigudam is a small town in
Nagaon District of
Assam. It is situated at altitude of 413 ft above sea level and is 15 km east of
Nagaon.
The town is famous for a Durga Temple. The annual festival in this temple attracts thousands of devotees.
Chaparmukh Junction Railway Station is the nearest major railhead.
