Punjai Thottakurichi, also spelt Punjai Thottakurishi, is a small settlement situated between Namakkal and Karur, in Karur District , Tamil Nadu. It spans over an area of about 12 sq km. Thottakurichi lies in the south-east, Punjaipugalur in the south-west and Manappalli in the north-east. The town lies on the banks of River Cauvery.
