Punalur Bus Station

Punalur Bus Station is situated on National Highway 208. Punalur is connected to Main Eastern Highway (State Highway 8.) Regular services are available to Aryankavu, Kottarakkara, Thenmala, Kulathuppuzha and Pathanapuram. Buses ply from Punalur to Kollam, Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi, Alappuzha and Pathanamthitta. Kerala State Road Transport Corporation operates super fast, fast passenger and ordinary buses from here. Trivandrum International Airport is the nearest airport. Managed by the Southern Railways, Punalur Railway Station is the nearest railway station.
