Puliyur

Puliyur is a town in the northern region of Pudukkottai District, Tamil Nadu. It is 33 km north of Pudukkottai and 9 km from Kiranur, which is on Pudukkottai-Tiruchirappalli Road. The town of Gandarvakottai, on Pudukkottai-Thanjavur Road, is 21 km east. Adhanakkottai, Kaliyappatti, Kunnandarkoil, Kudumianmalai, Narthamalai, Sittanavasal and Kodumbalur are among the prime spots known for ancient temples, which can be visited. Kiranur Railway Station is the nearest railhead. Nearest airport is Tiruchirapalli Airport, which is 19 km north.
