Puliyur

Situated on the banks of Cauvery River, Puliyur is a small settlement in Karur District , Tamil Nadu. Spanning over an area of about nine sq km, it lies near Karur. Thanthoni is situated in the south-west, Karur is in the north-west and Uppidamangalam in the south-east. The town houses many industrial establishments. Tiruchirapalli is around 27 km away.
