Puliyara

Puliyara is situated in Tirunelveli District. This town, close to Kerala-Tamil Nadu border, is on the way to Sengottai from Kollam. Tirunelveli is 63 km south-east and Sengottai is 8 km away.

Kuttalam, famous for water falls, is about 13 km south. Vishwanatha Temple at Tenkasi, Papanasam Falls and Papanasam Temple at Papanasam, ancient temples at Kallidaikurichi and Manimuthar Dam are nearby worth visiting spots.

Trivandrum International Airport (65 km south) and Sengottai Railway Station are the nearest access points. National Highway 208 passes through Puliyara. Kollam-Sivakasi rail route of the Southern Railways passes nearby.
