Located at the sprawling palace ground in
Bangalore, the Princess Academy of Equitation was started in 1995 by the erstwhile royal family of
Mysore. In addition with the basic lessons in horse riding, the academy imparts training in show jumping and tent pegging.
There are facilities for night riding. It also offers therapeutic riding program named Healing Horses for persons with disabilities. Various horse shows and equestrian events are organized in collaboration with other equestrian associations of the country. The academy also conducts day safaris to Mysore and Nandi Hills.
Bangalore Cantonment Railway Station and Bangalore City Junction Railway Station are the nearest railheads.
