Premananda Orphanage Center lies in Pothurajupalem in
Ongole, the capital of
Prakasam District. It provides shelter for orphaned, street, refugee and economically backward children.
Primary education (from nursery to standard V) is imparted. On completing primary education, the children are sent to other schools. The complete expenses of such children are taken care of by the orphanage. For physical growth, the students are engaged in sport/game activities. Spiritual development is through prayers, bible reading, meditation and Holy mass. Vocational training is given for the needed ones.
The nearest railway station is Ongole Railway Station, just 5 hour drive from Chennai.
