Pravara Sangam lies on the banks of Godavari, about 13 km north-east of Nevasa, in Ahmednagar District. It is located right on the district’s border with Aurangabad District. Gangapur is the nearest major settlement on the other side of the border, in Aurangabad District. Ahmednagar, the district headquarters, is situated 46 km south-west of Pravara Sangam.
