Pragathi Engineering College was established in 2001 by the Pragathi Educational Institutions. The college is affiliated to the
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education. The college conducts B.Tech courses in Mechanical, Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics and Communication and Electrical and Electronics. There is a well equipped library with sufficient number of volumes of text books, reference books and technical journals.
