Power Management Institute, set up by National Thermal Power Corporation, is placed near film-city in
Noida,
Uttar Pradesh. It is concerned with the training and development of middle and senior level personnel from the power sector.
The programs include managing the organization, developing general managerial competence, upgrading functional skills and enhancing technical expertise. Long duration programs such as executive trainees program, M Tech program and PGDBM program are also organized.
Apart from this, the institute executes workshops and seminars, conducts applied research in management area and undertakes consultancy assignments in management and technical areas of the power sector.
The campus houses lecture rooms, conference rooms and seminar rooms. There is a learning resource center, which includes books, data bank and information service in print and electronic media. The residential facilities include 50 air-conditioned rooms and 20 suites.
Swimming pool, physical fitness center and gymnasium, tennis court, badminton court and facilities for table tennis and billiards are among the recreational and sporting facilities.
