Kasargod, the headquarters of
Kasargod District in
Kerala, is often referred as the land of forts. Among the numerous forts lining the region’s landscape is the Povval Fort. This is an old fashioned fort located 10 km from the town. This fort has been declared as a protected monument by the state government.
