Povval, a small village on
Kasargod-Mulleria road, is located about 15 km from Kasargod town towards east. The village is famous for an old fort called Povval Fort. LBS College of Engineering, a primary school and a Jama Masjid are the major landmarks of this hamlet. Muslims consitute the majority of the population.
