Ponnur

Ponnur is a residential locale situated in Guntur District of Andhra Pradesh. It is on the Guntur-Chirala state highway, about 29 km south of Guntur.

Major point of attraction here is the Bhavanarayana Swamy temple, which is visited by large number of devotees throughout the year. LAP Orphan Home, Sri Anjaneya Swamy Temple and Garutmanta Temple are the other highlights of this place.

Bapatla Railway Station is the nearest station served by the South Central Railways. By road, Ponnur is connected with Guntur, Bapatla, Tenali and Narasaraopet.
