Pomburpa

Pomburpa is in the south-eastern region of Bardez taluk, in North Goa District. The place is roughly 6 km off the National Highway 17 and is about 3 km from Paliem and 1 km north of Socorro. The Mapusa River flows close by.

A premier educational institution located here is St Elizabeth's High School. Feast of Our Lady of Candelaria is a major event held in this area. Corjuem Fort is 4 km away. Some other interesting spots near Pomburpa include Church of Our Lady of Miracles, Mapusa Market and Our Lady of Socorro Church. Pomburpa is known for its medicinal springs.
