Pomalwadi

Pomalwadi is a small village by the banks of Bhima River, near Solapur District’s northern border with Pune District. Jeur is about 25 km east and Solapur, the district headquarters, is around 130 km south-east of Pomalwadi.

Maldhok Bird Sanctuary, Mayureshwar Wildlife Sanctuary and Rehekuri Blackbuck Sanctuary are popular wildlife sanctums easily accessible from Pomalwadi.
