Polba, also spelled Polaba, is a
taluk headquarters town, in
Hooghly District of
West Bengal. It is situated about 40 km from Pandua and 16 km north-west of Bhatpara. Sudarsan, 4 km to the west; Meria, 3 km to the east and Paunan, 2 km to the south are the nearby places.
Bandel Church, Tarakeshwar Temple, Nandadulal Mandir, Chandannagar, Arambagh, Dhaniakhali, Magra, Chinsurah and Bandemataram House are the interesting tourist spots around.
Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport and Magra Railway Station are the nearest airport and railway station respectively.
