Pokhu Devta Temple is located at Naitwar in Uttarkashi District. The shrine is situated at the confluence of Supin and Rupin rivers. It is dedicated to a folk deity, Pokhu. This wooden temple is very similar to Karna's Temple at Sarnaul. Pokhu’s chamber is positioned behind a Shivling. It is said that Pokhu’s image can create terror and hence, it is not shown to anyone. The idol is worshipped with one's back towards it.
