Poddareshwar Ram Mandir is situated near Mayo Hospital, in
Nagpur,
Maharashtra. Built in 1923, it is a beautiful temple constructed with marble and sandstone. The presiding deity here is
Lord Ram along with
Sita and
Lakshman.
Lord Shiva is also worshipped here.
The annual Ramnavami Festival, celebrated here, attracts thousands of devotees from far and near. A very big and beautiful procession is taken out during the festival. Mahashivaratri , Janmashtami, Vinayak Chaturthi and Hanuman Jayanti are other major festivals celebrated here, amid much pomp and splendor.
