Perungudi is a small settlement situated on the southern border of Chennai in Kanchipuram District, Tamil Nadu. Sprawling over an area of about six sq km, Perungudi is surrounded by Kottivakkam in the north-east, Madippakkam in the west, Oggiyamduraipakkam in the south and Neelankarai in the south-east.
Perungudi Lake and Perungudi Industrial Estate are the major landmarks. Nearby tourist spots are Mahabalipuram, Pallavaram, Guindy National Park and Vandalur Zoo.
Chennai International Airport is the nearest airport. Perungudi can be accessed from Chennai by road.
