Perinad, also spelt Perunad, is a village situated on the way to
Erumeli from
Ranni, in
Pathanamthitta District. It is about 8 km north of
Vadasserikara.
Sree Dharmasastha Temple at Sabarimala is within the reserve forest area of the village. Many ancient temples, churches and fortresses are situated in the neighborhood areas.
Pampa, Vadasserikara, Konnithazham, Malayalapuzha and Cherukole are the nearby interesting places. Chengannur Railway Station serves the village. Perinad can be easily accessed by local buses from Ranni.
