Peddarippasamudram is located in Chittoor District of Andhra Pradesh. It lies on the banks of the Palagiri Papagni and is near the district’s border with Karnataka. It is around 30 km north-west of Madanapalle.
Horsley Hills, about 20 km south-east, is a major tourist attraction in the district.
